The Constraints Series started in 2010, when Clemens Hollerer was artist-in-residence at the Cité des Arts in Paris, France. Following his first collages from 2006, he consolidated his techniques and reacted on personal experiences with urban constraints. The series was continued in 2012 and finished with ‘Constraints 38, 2013’ one year later.
